MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Structural Design and Analysis

  • Calculate structural frames under wind load, seismic load, dynamic load from the folding mechanism, and overall static loads.

  • Analyze, select, and optimize the dimensions of steel box sections, bracings, bolt–weld connections, and mechanical joints.

  • Use simulation software such as SAP2000, ETABS, Robot Structural Analysis, ANSYS, or SolidWorks Simulation.

  • Design structural systems compliant with AS/NZS standards, Eurocode 3, and other international and Vietnamese structural codes.

  • Propose anti-torsion, anti-vibration, and center-of-gravity reduction solutions during the automated folding/unfolding process.

  • Calculate the connection between the module – foundation – and anchor system to ensure safety under extreme weather conditions such as storms and earthquakes.

B. Product Development Coordination

  • Work with mechanical engineers to convert concept designs into detailed structural drawings.

  • Coordinate with the materials team to test the durability of panels, joints, adhesives, and sandwich materials.

  • Support the MEP team in identifying floor/wall penetration points to avoid affecting structural safety.

  • Participate in R&D of panel systems, especially tongue-and-groove or sandwich-core structures with integrated load-bearing frames.

C. Standardization of Drawings and Technical Documentation

  • Develop standardized Structural Drawing Packages for each module type (36m², 72m², 145m²…).

  • Update structural material BoMs, shop drawings, and fabrication documents.

  • Establish QC Checklists for the production and assembly process.

  • Record experimental data to calibrate calculation models for future R&D versions.

D. Technical Risk Management and R&D

  • Forecast and analyze structural risks in harsh environments (wind, corrosion, transportation, rapid installation).

  • Propose reinforcement solutions or material substitutions in case of defects or overload conditions.

  • Participate in destructive tests and ultimate load tests when required.

  • Work with the IP team to prepare patent documentation and technical descriptions related to structural frames and connections.
