MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Chair the evaluation of subcontractors, selecting cost-effective and efficient production and construction methods.
- Organize legal inspections of related tasks during the construction process.
- Organize quality, quantity, and progress management of construction work.
- Organize the management of contract execution by contractors.
- Organize risk management and information organization in project management.
- Organize the management of investment capital settlement for construction.
- Manage the progress of project management work and assign tasks to each project management staff member.
- Participate with the Leadership Board in negotiating contract terms with clients until the official contract is signed.
- Take primary responsibility for managing signed contracts (including: scope of work, quality standards, project schedule and finances, labor safety…).
- Manage advances and payments according to the signed contract between the Company and the contractor.
- Manage the completion document portfolio of the project, representing the Company to complete the completion procedures according to current legal regulations.
- Direct and manage departments implementing construction items, managing construction projects and functional departments under the construction part of the Company to ensure quality and safety for construction works.
- Summarize and evaluate as a basis to advise the Leadership Board in resolving issues and arising matters that affect the quality, progress, and investment efficiency of the project.
- Organize the inspection and review of acceptance documents, settlement documents, quality documents, completion documents… of the works and construction items during the contractors' construction process.
- Direct and manage the preparation, inspection, and monitoring of legal/administrative procedures to implement the project according to current state regulations.
- Directly lead, manage, operate, and monitor the progress of work performed by staff in the Construction Board.
- Take responsibility for the targets and operational efficiency of the Construction Board.
- Seek and develop the human resources team of the Construction Board.
- Coordinate recruitment; training in expertise, professional skills; evaluate the work results of the staff in the Construction Board.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Age: 35 - 50 years old.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
3. Major: Civil and industrial construction or equivalent fields.
4. Experience: Over 10 years of working experience in the construction field, including at least 5 years in a similar position at large construction companies.
5. Language: Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
6. Computer skills: Proficient in software such as Autocad, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, and other construction-related software.
7. Skills:
- Leadership and management skills.
- Analytical, synthesis, and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate, convey information, solve problems, and organize workgroups effectively.
8. Relevant knowledge:
- Experience in executing large projects, high-rise buildings, and complex facilities in a management role.
- Experience in planning, organizing, managing, and overseeing activities on multiple construction sites simultaneously.
- Trained and certified in: Project management, supervision, site management, estimation, occupational safety, etc.
- Understanding of ISO and establishing quality management processes, construction processes, etc.
- Other necessary qualities: Honesty, proactivity, creativity, responsibility, decisiveness in work, and ability to withstand high pressure in work.
