MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

At CT UAV, we’re building the next generation of intelligent drones to serve a wide range of industries—from precision agriculture and infrastructure inspection to emergency response and autonomous logistics. Our mission is to create UAV systems that are not only autonomous but adaptive, learning from their environments to operate safely and efficiently in complex, real-world conditions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Robotic Engineer to lead our robotics team in designing, prototyping, and productizing advanced robotic systems—such as robotic arms—integrated into Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and innovation to push the boundaries of aerial robotics for industrial and defense applications.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

✅ Key Responsibilities

👥 Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary robotics team.
  • Define technical roadmap for UAV-embedded robotic systems.
  • Ensure timely delivery of prototypes and production-ready solutions.

⚙️ System Design & Development

  • Architect robotic systems (e.g., robotic arms) optimized for UAV integration.
  • Oversee mechanical design, actuation, sensing, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with weight, power, and aerodynamic constraints for UAV platforms.

🔧 Prototyping & Productization

  • Drive rapid prototyping cycles and transition designs into manufacturable products.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams for scalability.
  • Implement rigorous testing protocols for reliability and safety.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UAV navigation, AI, and autonomy teams for seamless integration.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to align technical goals with business objectives.

💡 Innovation & Research

  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies in aerial robotics and manipulation.
  • Contribute to IP development and patent filings.

 

🎓 Qualifications

Education:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in robotics development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying robotic systems in real-world applications.
  • Experience with UAV platforms and embedded systems is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control algorithms.
  • Proficiency in robotic and simulation environments (ROS, Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac).
  • Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, and embedded programming (C++, Python).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Good English skills.
