Key Responsibilities
R&D Activity Management:
• Manage and operate all activities of the R&D department: personnel, resources, budget, and project timelines.
• Ensure that new products and technologies are developed efficiently, on schedule, and in line with brand strategy and business direction.
• Establish, update, and monitor the implementation of the research – testing – product development process.
Market & Customer Research:
• Research market trends, consumer behavior, and customer preferences to propose suitable product ideas.
• Analyze and compare competitors' products to identify differentiators and suggest improvements to enhance competitive capability.
Product Research and Development:
• Oversee the research and testing of new formulas for products within the system.
• Review and improve formulas, ingredients, and production processes to optimize costs and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Production to implement products from concept to actual production.
Quality Control & Standards:
• Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and legal regulations (Food Safety).
• Establish and manage standards for raw materials, processing formulas, and production processes.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control department to inspect incoming raw materials and the quality of outgoing products.
• Develop a system for periodic quality checks of products and evaluate effectiveness after market launch.
Other tasks as required by superiors.
Job Requirements
Age: 25 – 40 years old
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
Major: Food technology, Quality management, Food chemistry, or related fields.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the R&D field.
In-depth understanding of production processes, food processing technologies, and food safety standards such as VSATTP, HACCP, and ISO.
Languages: Proficiency in English is preferred
Computer skills: Proficient in computer usage and office/industry-related software
