I.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Finance Management
- Lead and manage the Accounting department in
compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and all relevant tax
regulations.
- Prepare and review financial and management
reports accurately and on time.
- Supervise cash flow, budgeting, and cost
optimization across the organization.
- Support the Finance team in developing
forecasts, financial planning, and variance analysis.
2. Capital Equipment Procurement Support
- Participate in procurement of high-value
production equipment (mainly imported), including budgeting, supplier
coordination, and cost tracking.
- Collaborate with technical and supply chain
departments to evaluate investment plans and ensure proper financial oversight.
- Manage accounting for fixed assets, imports,
and international payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax, customs, and
internal asset capitalization procedures.
3. Compliance and Coordination
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as tax
authorities, auditors, and banks.
- Ensure the company fulfills all tax, insurance,
and financial obligations under Vietnamese law.
- Assist in managing financial risks and
providing strategic input to executive leadership.
II.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/ACCA is
a plus.
- English communication skills (spoken and written) – ability to work
directly with a foreign manager.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a
Chief Accountant or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of factory operations, capital investments, and cost
control.
- Familiarity with international procurement, import procedures, and
payment terms.
- Experience in manufacturing environments, especially hi-tech or
semiconductor industries, is highly preferred.
- Good command of English for cross-department and international
communication.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
