Job Objective:
To assemble UAV components and sub-assemblies accurately and efficiently according to established procedures and quality standards. The Production Line Assembler is responsible for ensuring the proper fit and function of each component, contributing to the overall quality of the final UAV product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble various UAV components (e.g., frames, motors, electronic boards, wiring) according to work instructions, using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
- Perform basic soldering tasks to connect electronic components and wiring harnesses. Ensure proper connections, insulation, and routing of wires.
- Perform visual inspections and basic tests on assembled components and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and report any defects or non-conformities.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in good working order. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production quantities, quality issues, and any other required documentation.
- Work effectively with other team members to meet production goals. Assist others as needed and participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, suggesting ways to improve processes and eliminate waste.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification is a plus.
- Experience: Some experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and soldering techniques.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow work instructions and maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Communication: Basic communication and reading skills to understand work instructions.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production requirements.
- Language: Ability to understand work instructions in the local language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electronics assembly.
- Experience with UAV assembly.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Certification in soldering or related skills.
