JOB DESCRIPTION
- Advise and assist the Head/Deputy Head of Design Management on structural design
- Ensure the management and inspection of design documents according to regulations.
- Advise and assist the Head/Deputy Head on structural design documents.
- Participate in designing and organizing the implementation of design plans during construction to minimize risks and errors.
- Directly inspect and manage structural design documents
- Ensure the management of the structural aspect of projects aligns with the corporation’s policies.
- Manage the structural design of the corporation’s projects from conceptual design to construction drawings and author supervision. Projects vary in type, including complexes, residential, office, commercial, and resort hotels.
- Oversee the Structural Department, assign tasks, and coordinate the specialists within the department. Collaborate with consultants to provide professional opinions and optimal structural design solutions, ensuring functionality and architectural aesthetics.
- Control the entire content of design documents against the design brief, applying design standards and regulations.
- Manage the Structural Department and coordinate work and progress with related departments such as Architecture, MEP, and Infrastructure to match the overall project timeline.
- Inspect and identify inconsistencies and limitations in structural design documents and their integration with other disciplines like Architecture, MEP, and Infrastructure.
- Support Project Management Boards (upon request) in verifying the accuracy of shop drawings against approved design documents.
- Perform tasks according to responsibilities and other duties assigned by superiors.
- Organize project design work as directed by the Head/Deputy Head
- Ensure project design work follows the directives of the Head/Deputy Head.
- Develop design information requirements and detail construction drawings.
- Coordinate with the construction management department and design consultants to find solutions for errors, arising issues, and design adjustments.
- Organize project design work as directed by the Head/Deputy Head.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 25 – 45 years old.
- Education: University degree or higher.
- Major: Civil and Industrial Construction or related fields.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in structural design and design management, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Foreign language: Preferably proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Computer skills: Proficient in using computers, office software, and specialized software.
- Certificates: Possess a Class 1 design practice certificate.
- Skills:

- Negotiation, conflict resolution, diplomacy, and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, creatively, solve problems, and make decisions.
- Related knowledge:
- Comprehensive knowledge of planning, architecture, interior, exterior, structural, and MEP disciplines.
